Top 3 signs of plantar fasciitis
Hello it’s Jeff Wang the podiatrist here. Today I am going to talk about the top 3 signs of plantar fasciitis.
No.1 Location location location
First, it's about the location of the pain. Plantar fasciitis typically gives you pain in the bottom of your foot. It could be at the heel, under the arch or sometimes even towards the forefoot (less common).
No.2 When does your foot hurt?
When does your foot hurt? People generally complaint of "1st step pain in the morning", "pain when get up in the middle of the night", or "pain after sitting for a while". All these symptoms are referred as "rise from rest pain" , which is very common among plantar fasciitis sufferers. People with plantar fasciitis typically report intense sharp pain in the morning that is generally lessened within 5 to 20 minutes after activities. Then report dull and bruising type of pain towards the end of the day.
No.3 Too much, too soon
